Our women's only program is based on the techniques of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. This is a stand alone program or a great compliment to our fundamental classes.
We will teach you to neutralize the most common attacks ranging from having your hair grabbed to being pinned to the ground. Unlike many self defense systems that rely on strength, speed, and athleticism, the techniques of Jiu-Jitsu employ leverage, timing, and technique. This allows students, regardless of age or athleticism, to apply the techniques to larger stronger opponents.
Beyond the physical techniques you will also learn principles of awareness, verbal strategies, and the mindset and belief that you are worth protecting!
